Brixham Breakwater Lighthouse is located at the end of the Victoria Breakwater. The structure stretches for half a mile offshore. It’s a pleasant walk along the length, and from the far end you gain a very different perspective of the harbour and town. The Breakwater is a great spot for fishing – it is possible to fish both the seaward side and into the harbour, meaning you might catch wrasse, conger eels, mackerel, garfish, bass, pollack or mullet.
Established in 1916 at a height of 6 metres and an elevation of 9 metres, the lighthouse has a range of 9 Kilometres with a character oscillating red every 15 seconds.
